Street portraits are all about making connection in a short space of time. A nod, a smile, a chat, a bit of banter; connection can take various forms. They’re often both challenging and rewarding, not just for the image as the end result, I enjoy the interaction. People rarely say no, and I rarely take more than a minute or two. The result - a moment in time showing a fleeting interaction between photographer and subject.
